Billionaires
Went to the Billionaire Boys Club party this week. Great bash. It was in Harvey Nicks (sweety) and N.E.R.D performed. I missed their show as I had to dash off an DJ for an event for the Princes Trust t London College of Fashion, my old stomping ground.
Mischa Barton was there. What does she do again? Wasn't she in a TV show in LA or something once? For absolutely no reason whatsoever I think I might hate her. Anyway, the party was kinda pumpin' and the ice cream was kinda' flowin'. Good times.
Ummm....is anyone interested in this blog? Probably not. Here's a gratuitous picture of me at the party with my friends Jo and Ronen. I'm off to get some Cornflakes, I have nothing interesting to say today.

Brick Lane

I've spent the last couple of days hanging out in Brick Lane in East London and am considering buying a place to live in the area in a year or so. There's a great creative energy in the area, lots of great bargain shops, cafes and hangout joints and, of course, a massive selection of nightclubs and bars.

Yesterday was the Art Car Boot Fair in the area behind 93 Feet East, which I visited with Scottee. Essentially it was a mini art festival (on a very sunny afternoon) held in a car park with performances from the team behind Bethnal Green Working Mens Club, plus a huge array of things to do and buy from local artists. I bought a rosette with the words 'prima donna' spread across it, and I paid two pounds to have the first paragraph of my novel written by a pair of ladies who aim to ease writers block.

I gave the two ladies my name and the title of 'My Life in Drag' (unoriginal, I know) and they typed up the following:

'I grew up believing that life could be beautiful, but I have a rather strange definition of beauty. Beauty is something you can find everywhere, in High Streets, in car parks and especially in dark alleys. You could say my entire life has been a search for the beautiful.
An ugly search, at times.'

Watch this space - i reckon I'll use that in my autobiography. The girls assured me that by handing over a shiny two-pound coin I was buying the rights to do whatever I wished with the text.

Anyway, if I end up buying a crib round there I'll invite you all round for tea. At the moment I'm happy to stay in Camden for the next year or two.

SAD
I swear I have SAD and it seems to be totally taking over!
Today the weather seems to be hopelessly switching from grey cloud to the odd glimmer of sunshine but after four nights of torrential rain i feel i am losing the will to live!
When you're on the night owl schedule it all gets a bit too much! Will this weather just SORT ITSELF OUT!! I betcha we've had the best of the summer. Oh well, more of an excuse to catch a flight to sunnier pastures (beaches).

Thank god its the circus 2nd birthday tonight - deciding what to wear will lift my spirits.

see you there!!

The best food in the world

1. Marmite.
I don't understand people who don't like Marmite. The world is divided by those who love it and those who hate it. I used to have a fear of the black sloppy goo because I thought it would give me a yeast infection. Now I know it's just a condiment of sorts made from yeast extract. And it's delicious. Oh, and I can't get a yeast infection for obvious reasons.

2. Ribena.
Big up the blackcurrants. I drink a Ribena with my breakfast and it provides all the vitamins I need to start my day. Best drunk with a hang over.

3. Sushi.
I could live off the stuff. white tiger rolls are my favourite. Sashimi gives me the fear though, it's just strips of raw fish. What's that about? Best eaten with edamame.

4. Rainbow drops.
The best confectionary known to man. Almost as morish as crack. Sugar coated puffs of rice cleverly disguised as little drops of heaven.

5. Salad.
America does the best salads - huge portions covered in ranch dressing with blue cheese and bacon (plus the odd tomato and lettuce leaf).

Blimey, I'm hungry now.
Hmmm....can you tell I'm ill in bed with flu and have nothing else to write about?!!
